Well... THAT was unexpected...
A rogue hacker named Armand Du Plessis just created Identitude... a prototype OpenID system for Facebook, written in the Facebook API.
Ten bucks says he either gets shut down, or the integration won't allow you to easily extract relationship data...

I just read your previous
I just read your previous post on how that wouldn't happen. Interesting stuff. I agree with you that no company that's winning has any incentive to adopt OpenID.
Re:Facebook Adds Opend?
Hi Bex, I wouldn't quite call it rogue hacking :) The OpenID provider is built as a normal Facebook application on top of the Facebook Platform. At the moment I enable basic relationship exporting in XFN format if the consumer supports OpenID2 and the Attribute Exchange Extensions. You can read more about it on my blog at http://armanddp.net or test the relationships export at http://identitu.de/test_auth/login. Let me know if you have any more questions. (Currently XFN support is more a POC but better support coming next week)

Yeah I know, its freaky... as soon as I boldly claim something wont happen, it happens...
I'm thinking about my next article: "There's no way I'll win the lottery"
